FILE PREPARATION:
Please include the following with your layout:
- A color proof printed in CMYK color mode to help us match the colors as close as possible
- A list of the colors used--either the CMYK mixtures of the PMS Numbers (Coated)
- All fonts, illustrations and scan
MEDIA TYPES ACCEPTED AND FILE SUBMITTAL:
Files should be submitted on CD or DVD. Smaller files (under 5MB), can be sent via e-mail (info@giantimaging.com).
You can also upload your file to our FTP site. If you wish to FTP your file, you must notify us after the upload--this will ensure your file is downloaded and reviewed in a timely manner.
To upload files to our FTP site, please follow these steps:
- Go to www.giantimaging.com/ftp
- Press “Connect” on the bottom, left-hand side of the page
- Press “OK” on the “Connect” dialog box (Username and password appear by default)
- Locate the file in the left panel (The left panel is your local computer and the right is our host)
- Drag the file from the left panel to the right panel--this will begin will transfer
- Press “Disconnect” once the transfer is complete
- Call us at (866) 98-GIANT to notify us of the upload
RESOLUTION:
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please do not increase or decrease the DPI in order to meet our file standards--this file manipulation may alter and impair the quality of the design. Should you need further assistance with your file, please contact our Artwork department at (800) 98-GIANT.
Exterior Use: All files should be sent at actual size with a minimum of 50 DPI
Interior Use: All files should be sent at actual size with a minimum of 150 DPI
Higher resolutions than those required are unnecessary for large format printing and result in excessively large file sizes.
